SCHEDULE 27 U.K. Further amendments relating to metropolitan police etc

General interpretation of “local authority” U.K.

66 U.K.In section 336(1) of the M1 Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (general interpretation) in paragraph (a) of the definition of “local authority”—

(a) the words “(except the Receiver for the Metropolitan Police District)” shall cease to have effect; and

(b) at the end there shall be inserted “ or the Metropolitan Police Authority ”.
