1The following provisions of the [1829 c. 44.] Metropolitan Police Act 1829 shall cease to have effect—
(a)section 1 (establishment of metropolitan police and appointment of Commissioner);
(b)section 4 (the metropolitan police district);
(c)section 5 (regulations for management of the force);
(d)sections 10 to 12 (the Receiver); and
(e)section 22 (watchboxes).
