41(1)Part I of the [1976 c. 57.] Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 (general) shall be amended as follows.
(2)In section 44(1), in the definition of “local authority”, in paragraph (a) (extended meaning in certain provisions) after “section 3 of the [1996 c. 16.] Police Act 1996,” there shall be inserted “the Metropolitan Police Authority,”.
