The Lord Mayor and aldermen of the City of London shall not be justices of the peace unless appointed by the Lord Chancellor in accordance with the [1997 c. 25.] Justices of the Peace Act 1997.

Schedule 10 (which contains other provisions consequential on sections 74 and 75) has effect.
