22 E+W In subsection (14) of section 23 of the 1969 Act (remands and committals to local authority accommodation), paragraph (a) shall cease to have effect.

23 E+W In subsection (1) of section 70 of the 1969 Act (interpretation), after the definition of “young person” there shall be inserted the following definition—

““youth offending team” means a team established under section 39 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.”
