In this Schedule “the required provision for religious education”, in relation to a school, means the provision for pupils at the school which is required by section 352(1)(a) of the [1996 c. 56.] Education Act 1996 to be included in the school’s basic curriculum.

In this Schedule “agreed syllabus” has the meaning given by section 375(2) of that Act.
