2 Meaning of “at work” in relation to constables

In section 52 of the [1974 c. 37.] Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 (meaning of work and at work) in subsection (1) for the word “and” at the end of paragraph (b) there is substituted—

“(bb) a person holding the office of constable is at work throughout the time when he is on duty, but not otherwise; and”.
