7Short title, commencement and extent
(1)This Act may be cited as the Police (Property) Act 1997.
(2)This Act shall come into force at the end of the period of two months beginning with the day on which it is passed.
(3)In this Act—
(a)section 1 extends to England, Wales and Northern Ireland only,
(b)section 2 extends to England and Wales only,
(c)sections 3 to 5 extend to Northern Ireland only, and
(d)section 6 extends to Scotland only.
