23U.K.Notwithstanding the repeal by this Act of section 63 of the 1986 Act (restrictions on use of certain information), any direction given by the Secretary of State to the holder of an authorisation under section 7 of that Act shall continue to have effect so far as it relates to any relevant negotiations (within the meaning of the said section 63) which took place before the appointed day.
