Section 44 (Police Federations) shall be amended as follows.

In subsection (1A) for the words “disciplinary proceedings” there shall be substituted the words “proceedings brought under regulations made in accordance with subsection (3) of section 33 of this Act or with subsection (2A) of section 26 of the [1967 c. 77.] Police (Scotland) Act 1967”.

In subsection (1B) for the words “the Secretary of State” there shall be substituted the words “a police appeals tribunal”.
