10(1)In section 114 of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (approval of applications to provide certain facilities for the disabled), in subsection (1), for “the local housing authority” substitute “a local housing authority in England”.
(2)In section 127(3) of that Act (ineligibility for certain bodies as assisted participants in group repair scheme), in paragraph (a) after “county,” insert “county borough,”.
(3)In section 172 of that Act (transfer of new town housing stock)—
(a)in subsections (2)(a) and (7)(c), after “district council” insert “or Welsh county council or county borough council” in both places; and
(b)in subsection (2)(a), for second “district” substitute “area”.
