An Act to amend section 23(2) of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 1976 in relation to certain planning certificates.

Be it enacted by the Queen’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
(1)Section 23 of the [1976 c. 66] Licensing (Scotland) Act 1976 (production of certificates on application for new licence) shall be amended as mentioned in subsection (2) below.
(2)In subsection (2) (certificate in relation to planning) at the end there shall be added “or a certificate under section 90A of that Act that the proposed use or operations would be lawful as mentioned in the said section 90A.”
(1)This Act may be cited as the Licensing (Amendment) (Scotland) Act 1993.
(2)This Act extends to Scotland only.
