11E+W+SThe repeal by this Act of section 18(1) of the 1986 Act (which substituted in any enactment or instrument made under an enactment a reference to a basic pension for any reference to the basic component of a long-term benefit and a reference to an additional pension for any reference to an additional component of such a benefit) does not affect the construction of any enactment or instrument amended by that subsection.
