An Act to extend the maximum period for which an order under section 3 of the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985 may remain in force.

Be it enacted by the Queen’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
In section 4(1) of the [1985 c. 57.] Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985 (period after which an order under section 3 of that Act is to cease to have effect) for the words “five months” there shall be substituted the words “twelve months”.
(1)This Act may be cited as the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) (Amendment) Act 1992.
(2)This Act extends to England and Wales only.
