SCHEDULE 18Transfer of Functions Connected with Television Licences
Part II [1967 c. 72.] Amendments of Part I of Wireless Telegraphy Act 1967

In the following provisions, namely—
a
subsections (1), (2), (4) and (5) of section 1 (registration of dealers),
b
subsections (1), (3) and (6) of section 2 (notification and recording of transactions),
c
subsection (1) of section 3 (power to call for additional information),
d
subsections (1) and (2) of section 4 (service of notices, etc.), and
e
subsections (3) to (5) of section 5 (offences and enforcement),
for “the Postmaster General” wherever those words occur (which are, by virtue of section 3(1) of the [1969 c. 48.] Post Office Act 1969 and the [S.I. 1974/691.] Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (Dissolution) Order 1974, to be construed as, or in certain instances as including, a reference to the Secretary of State) substitute “the BBC”.
