Brunei (Appeals) Act 1989

2 Short title, commencement and revocation. U.K.

(1) This Act may be cited as the Brunei (Appeals) Act 1989.

(2) This Act shall come into force on such day as the Secretary of State may by order made by statutory instrument appoint.

(3) The M1 Sarawak, North Borneo and Brunei (Appeal to Privy Council) Order in Council 1951 and the M2 Brunei (Appeal to Privy Council) Order in Council 1963 shall be revoked as from the coming into force of the first Order made under section 1 above.
