Road Traffic Act 1988 (c. 52)

23 For section 183(6) of the 1988 Act (discharge of Part IV functions in relation to H. M. Forces) there shall be substituted the following subsection—

“(6) The functions under Part IV of this Act of traffic commissioners in relation to licences issued to persons subject to the [1957 c. 53.] Naval Discipline Act 1957, to military law or to air force law to drive large goods vehicles or passenger-carrying vehicles in the public service of the Crown shall be exercised by the prescribed authority.”.
