Section 54 of the 1976 Act E+W

24 (1) In subsection (3) of section 54 of the 1976 Act (arrangements for payment of drainage charges by owners), for the words from the beginning to “section” there shall be substituted the words “Where arrangements are made under this section it shall be the duty of the National Rivers Authority”. (2) In subsection (6) of that section, for the words from the beginning to “above” there shall be substituted the words “Where notice is given to the National Rivers Authority under subsection (5) above it shall be the duty of that Authority”.]
