Section 36 of the 1976 Act E+W

16 E+W In section 36(1) of the 1976 Act (power of water authorities to acquire accretions of land resulting from drainage works), for the words from “the water authority” to “compulsorily” there shall be substituted the words “the powers of the National Rivers Authority by virtue of the Water Act 1989 to acquire land by agreement or compulsorily for the purpose of carrying out any of its functions shall include power so to acquire”.]
