Part I Amendments Relating to Grant-maintained Schools
The Education Act 1944 (c. 31)

Section 10 of the 1944 Act (requirements as to school premises) shall be amended as follows.

In subsection (1), after the word “authorities" there shall be inserted the words “and of grant-maintained schools".

In subsection (2), after the words “maintained by them" there shall be inserted the words “or, in the case of a grant-maintained school, the duty of the governing body of the school to secure that the premises of the school".
