1 In section 5 (registration of small ships)—

(a) in subsection (5), omit “book”; and

(b) in subsection (9), for the definition of “fishing vessel” substitute—

• ““fishing vessel” means a fishing vessel within the meaning of Part II of the Merchant Shipping Act 1988.”
