Personal and project licences

5DF1Granting a project licence

1

This section applies where a project licence is granted in relation to a programme of work.

2

The project licence must—

a

specify the name of the person to whom the licence is granted; and

b

contain a statement that the person is responsible for the overall implementation of the programme of work and for ensuring that the programme is carried out in compliance with the conditions of the licence.

3

The project licence must specify the name of any person who at the time the project licence is granted holds a section 2C licence granted in respect of a place specified in the project licence.

4

The project licence must state how the Secretary of State classified the likely severity of each of the regulated procedures specified in the licence (see section 5B(3)(c)).

5

The project licence must state what determination the Secretary of State made as to whether and, if so, when the programme of work should be retrospectively assessed under section 5F (see section 5B(3)(h)).

6

The Secretary of State must publish a copy of the project summary that accompanied the application for the project licence.

7

But before doing so the Secretary of State must alter the copy so that—

a

it states what determination the Secretary of State made as to whether and when the programme of work should be retrospectively assessed under section 5F; and

b

it includes such additional information as the Secretary of State thinks appropriate in order to assist a person who reads the summary.
