14(1)There shall be a Keeper of the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh, who shall be known as the Regius Keeper, and who shall be appointed by Her Majesty on such terms as Her Majesty may determine.S
(2)The Regius Keeper shall be responsible to the Board for the general exercise of their functions.
