7 Power to appoint visitors of medical schools.U.K.

(1)[F1The General Council] may appoint persons to visitF2... places where instruction is given to medical students under the direction of any [F3body or combination of bodies included in the list maintained under section 4(1)].

(2)It shall be the duty of visitors appointed under subsection (1) above to report to [F1the General Council] as to the sufficiency of the instruction given in the places which they visit and as to any other matters relating to the instruction which may be specified by [F4the General Council] either generally or in any particular case; but no visitor shall interfere with the giving of any instruction.

(3)On the receipt of any report of a visitor under subsection (2) above [F1the General Council] shall send a copy of the report to the [F5body or combination of bodies] under whose direction the instruction is given, and on the receipt of the copy that body [F6or combination of bodies] may, within such period of not less than one month as [F4the General Council] may have specified at the time they sent the copy of the report, make to [F4the General Council] observations on the report or objections to it.
