28 Islands or district council’s functions in relation to the provision of clocks.S
[F1A local authority]—
(a)may provide a clock for public purposes and may maintain, illuminate or remove such clock; and
(b)where a clock is not owned by the [F2authority] but is open to public view, may for the purposes of securing its maintenance or illumination enter into an agreement with its owner.
