2In section 24(2) (requirement of consent of Secretary of State etc. to certain appropriations of land by local and other authorities), for the words from " following " to the end there shall be substituted the words " provision that land which is held for use as allotments shall not be appropriated except with the consent of the Secretary of State. ".
