1Extended meaning of " the Treaties " and " the Community Treaties ".
In section 1(2) of the European Communities Act 1972, in the definition of " the Treaties " and " the Community Treaties " there shall be inserted after paragraph (b) the words " and
(c)the treaty relating to the accession of the Hellenic Republic to the European Economic Community and to the European Atomic Energy Community, signed at Athens on 28th May 1979; and
(d)the decision, of 24th May 1979, of the Council relating to the accession of the Hellenic Republic to the European Coal and Steel Community; ".
