16The provisions of Part V of this Act shall have effect in relation to any act done or omitted to be done, conviction or order made or warrant issued before the commencement of this Act, and in relation to any proceedings brought before the commencement of this Act, as those provisions would have effect in relation to the like act done or omitted, the like conviction, order or warrant made or issued or the like proceedings brought, as the case may be, after the commencement of this Act.
