Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act 1979

4In section 9(1) of the Coal Mining (Subsidence) Act 1957 (special provision for subsidence damage in case of ancient monuments, etc.), for paragraphs (a) and (b) there shall be substituted the following paragraphs—

“(a)for the time being included in the Schedule of monuments compiled and maintained under section 1 of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act 1979 ; or

(b)notified to the Board by the Secretary of State as an ancient monument within the meaning of that Act for the time being under the care of the Secretary of State”.
