18Nothing in paragraph 8 above shall affect the authority of any body which immediately before the day appointed for the purposes of that paragraph was authorised by order of the registrar under section 87 of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act (Northern Ireland) 1969 or the power of the registrar to remove the authority of such a body by a subsequent order made on or after that day.
