65Rules of court in relation to juries in civil actions

Subject to this Act, rules of court may be made concerning the challenging, empanelling and discharge of jurors and juries and the conditions subject to which refreshment may be supplied to them at any stage of the trial of an action or issue therein and may prescribe the number of peremptory challenges, being not less than three or more than six, to be allowed to each party in civil proceedings.

Unless and until such rules are made, the law in force at the commencement of this Act shall apply to the matters referred to in subsection (1).
