5If the rules of a registered society in force at the commencement of this Act were in force on 1st January 1909 and provide for the admission as members of persons from the minimum age authorised by the [1896 c. 25.] Friendly Societies Act 1896. the rules shall be construed as providing for the admission as members of persons from birth.
