In sections 1(1) and 2(1) of the Health Services and Public Health Act 1968 (which relate to the treatment of resident and non-resident private patients at hospitals providing hospital and specialist services), for the words " providing hospital and specialist services " there shall be substituted the words " or group of hospitals vested in him or of the hospitals vested in him in a particular area " and after the words " the hospital" there shall be inserted the words " or hospitals in question ".

In section 1(2) and (3) of that Act, for the words " providing hospital and specialist services " there shall be substituted the words " vested in the Secretary of State ".
