In this Schedule—
“official form” means, in relation to an application or appeal, a document supplied by or on behalf of the Secretary of State for use for the purpose in question, and
“owner” in relation to any land means any person who under the Lands Clauses Acts would be enabled to sell and convey the land to the promoters of an undertaking and includes any person entitled to possession of the land as lessee under a lease the unexpired portion of which is not less than seven years.

For the purposes of section 49H of this Act and this Schedule, an application under paragraph 1 or 2 above is finally determined when the following conditions are met—
a
the proceedings on the application, including any proceedings on or in consequence of an application under section 233 of this Act, have been determined, and
b
any time for appealing under paragraph 5 above, or applying or further applying under that section, (where there is a right to do so) has expired.
