72 Remuneration of the Post Office for services rendered in relation to parliamentary elections.U.K.

(1)In the case of a postal F1 service rendered by the Post Office in pursuance of the [F2Representation of the People Act 1983] without charge, the Post Office shall be entitled to be remunerated for having rendered it at the rate for the time being fixed in relation thereto by virtue of section 28 of this Act.

(2)A sum which, by virtue of the foregoing subsection, the Post Office is entitled to receive shall be charged on, and issued out of, the Consolidated Fund.
