(1)This Act may be cited as the Redundant Churches and other Religious Buildings Act 1969.
(2)Nothing in this Act shall be taken to prejudice any power of the court (within the meaning of the M1Charities Act 1960) or the Charity Commissioners to establish a scheme for the administration of a charity or the power of the Charity Commissioners under section 23 of that Act to authorise dealings with trust property.
(3)The proviso to section 91 of the Pastoral Measure 1968 is herebyrepealed.
(4)This Act does not extend to Scotland or Northern Ireland.
