79 Provision for modifying or extending restrictions under s. 78.U.K.

(1)The F1... Ministers may by order provide that any of the restrictions imposed by section 78 of this Act shall cease to have effect, or shall have effect subject to such exceptions as may be specified in the order.

(2)Without prejudice to the preceding subsection, regulations made by the F2... Ministers may (in addition to the restrictions for the time being having effect by virtue of section 78 of this Act) impose such further restrictions or other requirements with respect to the use of titles, descriptions and emblems as may be specified in the regulations.

(3)Without prejudice to the application of section 129(6) of this Act, before making any order or regulations under this section the F3... Ministers shall consult [F4the General Pharmaceutical Council and the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland].

(4)Regulations made under this section shall be of no effect unless a draft of the regulations has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
