This is the original version (as it was originally enacted).
(1)In the [1936 c. 49.] Public Health Act 1936 references to vessels, and in the [1955 c. 16 (4 & 5 Eliz. 2.).] Food and Drugs Act 1955 references to ships, shall be construed as including references to hover vehicles, that is to say, vehicles designed to be supported on a cushion of air; and in each of those Acts " master" shall be construed accordingly.
(2)This section shall have effect in Scotland as if, for the references therein to the Public Health Act 1936 and the Food and Drugs Act 1955, there were substituted references respectively to the Public Health (Scotland) Acts 1897 to 1945 and the [1956 c. 30.] Food and Drugs (Scotland) Act 1956.
