SCHEDULE 5Provisions applicable by virtue of section 13 of this Act to the University of St. Andrews after the foundation of the University of Dundee
Principal, Vice-Principal and Heads of Colleges

The principal of the University of St. Andrews shall be appointed by Her Majesty.
b
There shall be a vice-principal of the University of St. Andrews who shall be appointed by the University Court from among the members of the Senatus Academicus:
Provided that he shall cease to hold office as vice-principal in the event of his ceasing to be a member of the Senatus Academicus.
c
The master of the United College of St. Salvator and St. Leonard and the principal of St. Mary's College shall be appointed by the University Court.
