SCHEDULE 10 U.K. Savings and Transitional Provisions

Provisions relating to Part I of Act U.K.

10 U.K. In relation to service at any time before 29th April 1965, the expression “public office” in sections 38 and 39 of this Act includes—

(a) any public office within the meaning of the M1 Superannuation Act 1892 as in force at that time, and

(b) any office in the permanent civil service of a colony within the meaning of the M2 Pensions (Colonial Service) Act 1887 as in force at that time or any other office to which that Act then applied.
