29In paragraph 1 (1) of Schedule 3, in the definition of "local authority ", after the words " rural district" there shall be inserted the words " or the Common Council of the City of London, the Sub-Treasurer of the Inner Temple and the Under-Treasurer of the Middle Temple ",
and at the end of the definition of " district" there shall be inserted the words " in relation to the Common Council, means the City of London, and includes the Inner Temple and the Middle Temple. "
