1The repeal of section 2 of the Finance Act 1957 shall not affect the operation of subsection (1) of that section, so far as it invalidates licences issued before the 1st October 1963, or the operation of subsections (6) to (8) of that section, so far as they relate to the repayment of duty on licences so issued.

2Section 38(2) of the Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply to the above repeal of enactments contained in this Act as if they had been repealed by another Act.
