Section 2

SCHEDULE

Part 1Description of land transferred by conveyance dated 18th May 1871

All that piece or parcel of land in the Parish of Allhallows Staining in the City of London being the site of the lately existing Church of Allhallows Staining containing by estimation 3,422 square feet or thereabouts and having a frontage abutting on Mark Lane in the said City of London of 37½ feet or thereabouts together with the building now left standing thereon being the tower of the said Church and also all that piece of parcel of land in the Parish aforesaid and adjoining the said last mentioned piece of land and being the site of the messuage or parsonage house of the said benefice of Allhallows Staining and commonly called or known as the Curate’s house or residence together with the said messuage or house standing thereon and also the yard and ground belonging to such messuage or house which said last mentioned piece or parcel of land yard and ground contain by estimation 1,421 square feet or thereabouts and also the passage or entrance thereto from Mark Lane aforesaid.

Part 2Description of churchyard as contained in the schedule to the act of 1961

A piece of land in the City of London containing 4,524 square feet, or thereabouts, bounded:

(a)

on the north by a public footway known as Star Alley;

(b)

on the east by land in the ownership of the Company constituting part of the site of the said former church of Allhallows Staining and parts of the sites of former buildings known as 7 and 9/10 Mark Lane (which were destroyed by enemy action on 10th May 1941), upon part of which said land now stands the tower of the said former church with a crypt known as Lambe’s Chapel Crypt adjoining and upon other part of which said land now stands the parish hall of St. Olave Hart Street (the remainder of such land being at present unbuilt upon);

(c)

on the south by a private courtyard known as Dunster Court and the exit road leading therefrom to Mark Lane (such courtyard and exit road being in the ownership of the Company as to part and of the City of London Real Property Company Limited as to the remainder); and

(d)

on the west by land belonging to the Company upon which they have recently rebuilt their hall and erected other premises.
