Section 4.

SCHEDULE 1 Description of works referred to in section 4 (Power to make works) of this Act

• Work No. 1 A passenger subway (242 metres in length), including escalator subways, commencing in the Company’s Metropolitan Line platform concourse at King’s Cross beneath a point 51 metres west of the junction of Argyle Street and Euston Road and terminating by a junction with the Company’s Piccadilly Line platform concourse beneath a point 72 metres north-west of the junction of Birkenhead Street and Euston Road.

• Work No. 2 A passenger subway (191 metres in length), commencing by a junction with Work No. 1 beneath a point 25 metres west of the junction of Belgrove Street and Euston Road and terminating by a junction with the Company’s Victoria Line platform concourse beneath a point 54 metres north-east of the junction of Birkenhead Street and Euston Road.

• Work No. 3 A passenger subway (9 metres in length), commencing by a junction with Work No. 1 beneath a point 92 metres north-west of the junction of Birkenhead Street and Euston Road and terminating by a junction with an existing subway beneath a point 83 metres north-west of the junction of those streets.

• Work No. 4 A passenger subway (11 metres in length), commencing by a junction with Work No. 1 beneath a point 57 metres north of the junction of Pancras Road and Euston Road and terminating by a junction with the Company’s Northern Line platform concourse beneath a point 59 metres north-west of the junction of those streets.

• Work No. 5 A service subway and shaft (30 metres in length) commencing at a point 17 metres south-east of the junction of Belgrove Street and Euston Road and terminating by a junction with Work No. 2 beneath a point 19 metres north-east of the junction of those streets.

• Work No. 6 A transformer room and service subway (87 metres in length) commencing beneath a point 105 metres south-west of the junction of Argyle Street and Euston Road and terminating with an entrance into Work No. 1 beneath a point 23 metres west of the junction of those streets.

• Work No. 7 A ventilation shaft and subway (13 metres in length) commencing in the forecourt of St. Pancras main line station at a point 53 metres west of the junction of Argyle Street and Euston Road and terminating beneath a point 47 metres west of the junction of those streets.
