The Patents Rules 20075 are amended as follows.

In rule 85(1), omit from “, but not resident” to “the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgements Act 1982”.

In rule 103(4), for “another EEA state”, substitute “an EEA state”.

In Part 1 of Schedule 3—
a
in the entry relating to Article 5(c) of the Compulsory Licensing Regulation, for “EU compulsory”, substitute “compulsory pharmaceutical”; and
b
in the entries relating to Articles 6(1), 16(1) and 16(4), for “an EU compulsory”, substitute “a compulsory pharmaceutical”.
