1971 c. 38. Section 8 was saved by the Criminal Law Act 1977 (c. 45), Schedule 5, paragraph 1(2)(b)(iv). Section 9A was inserted by the Drug Trafficking Offences Act 1986 (c. 32), section 34(1).
