This Order is made in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 47(1)(b) of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000(1).
In accordance with section 47(2) of that Act, a draft of this Order was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
Accordingly, the Secretary of State makes the following Order—
