30. The Vaccine Damage Payments Act 1979(1) is amended as follows.

1979 c.17. Sections 3A and 4 were substituted by sections 45 and 46 of the Social Security Act 1998 (c.14) respectively. Section 4(1A) was inserted by section 57 of the Welfare Reform Act 2007 (c.5) and sections 4(2) and (3) were amended by paragraph 1(1) to (3) of Schedule 7 to the 2007 Act. Section 7A was inserted by section 47 of the 1998 Act and subsection (1)(a) was amended by paragraph 1(1) and (4) of Schedule 7 to the 2007 Act. Section 9A is to be inserted from a date to be appointed by paragraph 1(1) and (8) of Schedule 7 to the 2007 Act.
