Approval of Codes of Practice
8.—(1) This paragraph applies where, before the appointed day, the Commission—
(a)approved or issued a code of practice under section 16(1) of the existing Act; or
(b)approved a revision of a code of practice, or part of a code of practice, under section 16(4) of the existing Act.
(2) On the appointed day—
(a)any code of practice to which this paragraph applies shall have effect as if it had been approved or issued by the new Executive;
(b)any subsequent approval of a revision of that code, or withdrawal of the Commission’s approval of that code shall have effect as having been done by the new Executive; and
(c)any notices issued by the Commission under section 16(3) or (6) shall be deemed to have been issued by the new Executive.
