The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Whereas a draft of this Order in Council has been approved by resolution of each House of Parliament;

Now, therefore, Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 84(2) and (3) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998(1) is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

1998 c. 47; see section 98 for the definition of Northern Ireland legislation. By virtue of paragraph 3(1) of the Schedule to the Northern Ireland Act 2000 (c. 1), the reference to Acts of the Assembly in section 98 is to be interpreted as including references to Orders in Council made under paragraph 1(1) of the Schedule to that Act.
